Jaipur Airport Lounge Review at Domestic Departure

By | June 21, 2022

I visited Jaipur for short holiday trip and I was expecting an airport lounge to take some pre-flight snacks. But if you have checked MasterCard and diners club sites, you cannot see any lounge available in domestic departure. And so I made up my mind that I won’t be able to have some nice time at the airport.

Jaipur Domestic Airport Lounge

Well, to my surprise, there was a lounge in 1st floor just after security clearance. That moment when you happen to see a surprise airport lounge.. is priceless! πŸ™‚

It’s been 6 months or so I’ve been to this lounge but i still see that neither diners club nor MasterCard updated this in their list. Though, it appears that both MasterCard and diners club cards are being accepted here.

Anyways, it’s a pretty small lounge, I’ll better call it as a coffee shop and as you might have guessed it, they served us only coffee and sandwich. The menu is limited and you’ve to choose only one sandwich or the other.. something which reminds of the horrible experience at Goa port lounge.

However, here the service, the food taste and the quantity were all good enough. I hardly spent ~20 mins in the lounge, but had a tasty sandwich, much better than the one I had at Hyderabad transit lounge.

Facilities at Jaipur Airport Lounge:

  • CardExpert Lounge Rating: 3.5/5
  • Wifi: Yes
  • Food: Snacks.
  • Ambiance: Good.
  • Recharge Station: No
  • Complimentary Access on: Diners Club, MasterCard

Have you been to this lounge? Feel free to share your experiences in comments below.

Was at Dehradun Airport yesterday. They have port lounge but it is closed. Your priority pass post mentioned access for PP members but the authorities mentioned the lounge has never been operational.

I can see “Shaurya Executive Lounge” in Dehradun is still listed under Diners lounge List. No idea though, it might have been terminated. Let me update the post.

The Diners International Website lists the lounge in Dehradun as Shaurya Executive Lounge which BEFORE the security hold area. Whereas, HDFC Diners Club Website lists the lounge in Dehradun as Port Lounge which is AFTER the security hold up area. Don’t know which information to believe in.

Just been to Jaipur airport. It seems that the lounge there is converted to a restaurant. When I asked lounge(Club one class) guys.. they said “Its not a lounge, Its a restaurant”. Was confused so I just left.

You could have still asked if access is given for credit cards? Coz even in Goa, its more of a restaurant and less of a lounge.

Its not even listed anywhere. In that case, consider that something is better than nothing πŸ™‚

Jaipur is getting popular very much lately and sure it’ll have a good lounge in coming years.

As of 28th November 2020 they are only accepting Diners Club and Priority Pass. No Visa/Mastercard. Very disappointed. 😢

      Hi,

Before you enter the lounge you need to swipe your card and validate. After that you can use all the facilities that is available in the lounge.

Recently I visited Jaipur airport lounge. It was a total horrible experience. As it was mentioned (in earlier posts) that they have only 2 options(Veg or non veg sandwich) for the complementary food and beverages. It is of no worth visiting the lounge. It is total waiste of your time and definitely you will spoil your mood and come back.

Even they do not serve drinking water/paper napkin etc. You need to ask for everything and they will reluctantly serve. I can give a rating of 1 out of 5.

They accept VISA signature as well.
Not really helpful staff. Receptionist didn’t know (or pretended to not now) that VISA card can also be used for swipe in.

Sitting at Jaipur Airport today. Been to CIP lounge here and yes experience was exactly the same as told by Ashish here. They even kicked me out at 10 pm saying they are closing it because of some technical glitches. πŸ™‚ Guess the service is like that from quite some time. I had totally different expectations as Jaipur being one of the top tourist destination. Complete mood off.

Primus Lounge is recently Opened. Only Diners, Priority Pass and Lounge Key accepted for now. Approx 40 Seater and very limited menu on order. I had one DCI, but they allowed to sit and coffee/tea and one sandwich for family on 3, including 1 kid.

    Something is better than nothing

Jaipur domestic airport longue food is worst. People in front office have a non working CC swiping machine. So ask them to try in another working machine.

Few days back I was travelling to Bangalore from Jaipur and I happened to be in this Lounge. Morning at around 04:30 hours we (a family of 04 members including me) checked in into Jaipur Lounge. Toi my surprise they were accepting all kinds of premium cards. We were having 04 Platinum Visa cards and all got accepted here.
Early morning breakfast menu was limited with Poha, Burger and Veg Grilled Sandwitch, but that was also beyong my expectation. Beverages include Coffe, Tea and Juices…
Well, it was a nice experience…

Hi! The primus lounge shows access under Dream Folks lounge which also work with Kotak Mahindra Bank. Do you think they will allow free lounge access for Visa Platinum cards?

Visa Platinum cards generally doesn’t have lounge access but it depends on the card variant, some does have.

This is one of the worst lounge I been to….it was pathetic experience indeed…I would suggest if your Visa card declines to enter (seems primus lounge stopped taking HDFC lounge access in Jaipur lounge since August)please spend your hard earned INR 734/- somewhere else inside the Airport…not in this “Lounge”…

Very lousy response from lounge operator at Jaipur internationa airport(Primus),the operator says the pine express machine service is down hence you cannot take privelege to use lounge facilities.Weird kind of staff and irresponsible attitude.I have platinum rupay debit card, which i have used once before at Adani lounge at Mumbai international Airport.

Horrible Lounge . Local chai dhukhan is much better than the lounge. Pathetic ambience and too untidy . Consuming food in the lounge may cause ill health. I was left unattended by the staff. I haven’t seen any staff walking around the lounge. Even there are no sufficient charging ports. Overall rating is 0 out of 10.
