Another day another offer from American Express India. This time Amex have gone creative and launched discounts on car bookings. Use your American Express Credit Card to book Hyundai ELANTRA or TUCSON online and get a discount of Rs.25,000. More details below,

Offer Details

  • Offer: Rs.25,000 discount on the bill
  • Eligible Cars: Hyundai ELANTRA or TUCSON
  • To avail this offer, Cardmembers must pay the Booking amount of Rs.25,000/- while booking the car through the Website.
  • Discount of Rs.25,000/- will be adjusted in full & final invoice.
  • This Offer is applicable only for Cars invoiced by HMIL Dealer and purchased by Cardmembers on or before 31st March 2019.

Bottomline

This is not the first time American Express does a Car promo, as we saw Rs.1 Lakh cashback + bonus points offer on Audi in 2018. So looks like Amex is experimenting with different brands every year. I wish they do run promos in 2020 with VW/Audi as they fit much better for the Amex cardholders.

That aside, 25k discount on above Hyundai models is a sweet deal and definitely makes sense if you’re planning to buy one before March 31st 2019.
