Amex Swiggy Offer: Save ~50% on your Order

By | November 29, 2023

American Express India has recently delighted the foodies by first providing complimentary Zomato Gold membership benefit to its select cardmembers and now once again by introducing a personalized instant discount offer on Swiggy.

Offer Details

  • Offer: Open the link on email and enter your Swiggy account details to reveal the offer. A customised offer gets added to your swingy account.
  • Offer valid from 28 November 2023 – 31 December 2023.

I gave it a try and got a decent offer of 130 INR off on 250 INR spend. That’s about 52% off, which is good to see. But that’s usable only once.

I wish they had a premium offer variant with multiple use coupons. Anyway, something is better than nothing.

It’s been almost 5 Years since we had an amazing offer on online food delivery. The best that I could remember in the past is the 50% instant discount on Zomato in Jan 2019 and nothing after that, except the 100% cashback offer which is a bit different type of promo.

And that said, it looks like American Express is back in the game with aggressive offers. I hope it continues!

Just incase if you’re new to Amex, this is probably the right time to get one. And if you’re wondering which one to get, consider exploring Amex Plat Travel (or) MRCC which are both amazing cards to hold.

What’s your take on the Amex Swiggy offer? Did you get anything other the offer I’ve received as above? Feel free to share in the comments below.

Amex needs to have a good premium card in India. Platinum Reserve is a joke.

Zomato Gold 3 months offer is now @49 without Amex Card. I took that without Amex Card although I had the offer.

49 INR? I was given at 199 INR though. So they’ve personalised renewal rates for each?

15 dsys to 1 month free trial was also there. Zomato’s got no proper differentiation in their offerings. Often with or without gold there’s no difference to a given order. They had gold, they moved to Pro, then Pro Plus, now back to gold, improperly defined benefits… confused strategy. Swiggy also evolved with different offerings but each one was better defined than zomato.

You can extend the 3 months by another 3 months using the Amex offer. I also got the 49 offer, and then extended it using the Amex offer.

I received a 10 percent up to 1000 on Swiggy Dineout. It is a decent offer, but I happen to have Eazydiner Prime, and they have better card offers. So may not be able to use this one. Would have been happier with a Swiggy food delivery offer. But good to see Amex coming up with some nice offers. My first year with MRCC was fabulous, but things haven’t been the same for the last couple of years.

Are you sure its one time use? I have been using it for the past 10days and have used it 4 times. Amex fest is the code

They’ve mentioned it as One time use but yeah, I see it’s not capped too. Joy after a long time. 😉

Thanks. Got a 10% discount in Swiggy upto Rs. 1000. Interestingly post applying the discount, I am able to get the standard HDFC 15% discount too. Have not tried it though. Will do next week.

    Hello Sid,
I wanted to get a small advice from your side. I’m NRI and I want to try my hands on Amex cards.
Is there any different process for NRI to apply or what is it exactly?

Also the information that you provide is really amazing 🎉😁
