Taj Hotels Offer: 50% off on Stays for TIC Gold & Platinum members

50% off on Stays at Taj Hotels

Taj Hotels has come up with a nice 50% off on stays offer (DOUBLE THE JOY) and its undoubtedly an AMAZING offer. Its valid only for TIC gold/platinum members and here are all the details.

Offer Details

Offer50% off on stays
Booking Date05th to 11th January 2022
Stay Date05th January 2022 onwards
EligibilitySelect properties

That’s definitely an amazing offer and I can see the new rates LIVE on most properties. Some properties show slightly lower than 50% but that’s how Taj system works even with the 25% off rate for Gold/plat members.

For ex, Taj Fisherman’s Cove is available for 6K a night with breakfast, which otherwise sells for 10K a night.

However, I do see that not all properties are eligible for this offer.

So if you don’t see the special rate, its good to call and check with the in-house reservation desk. Do check out Taj Hotels: Tips on booking, upgrades if you’re new to Taj.

Bottomline

It’s once in a covid year offer!

This is the 2nd time we’re seeing this amazing offer and may probably be the last one, as travel may likely get back to normal in couple of months.

Have you booked any property with this offer? If so when & where? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.

        Hi Siddharth

I now see my TIC Gold membership extended till Dec, 22 and Epicure is valid till July, 22.

I hope you’ve checked yours too via the app?

I remember you had tweeted about this when Taj still hadn’t extended dates.

        Cheers!

As long as shangrila keeps you on Jade status , TIC gold will remain , shangrila extended status way before taj announced.. i am expecting shangrila to extend for 2023 also as asia pacific is mostly closed to outsiders for now

Transfer 250K Airmiles equivalent Reward Points to Singapore Airlines before 25-Feb-2022. You will get Gold Status.

Singapore Airlines Gold Status gets you Shangrila Golden Circle Jade (After 1 Night Stay in any of the Shangrila GC Program Hotels) via Infinite Journeys.

Shangrila GC Jade will give you Taj Innercircle Gold via Warmer Welcomes Partnership.

Ah man, that’s such a sweet way of getting TIC Gold. Cheers for sharing that. Alas, I am short of 250k points needed for it. Plus missed the 15% bonus offer when they were running just a couple of months back, Singapore airlines I.e.

Thanks for sharing this Sid. I have one small observation here. I have a TIC Gold membership via Amex Platinum and the same also reflects when I log on via the Taj website. But when I called up the Taj reservation desk, I was told that I’m a silver member and ‘Cherishing Togetherness’ rate wouldn’t be applicable even if booked the same on the website.
I’m going to call up the TIC team and sort this out. I just thought I’ll mention this so that no one gets a rude shock from Taj when they check-in and later are billed at a non-discounted rate!

Thanks for the alert, Vivek. There were days when Taj wasn’t able to fetch my TIC profile as well. It’s smooth these days though. Hope yours gets sorted soon.

Hi Sid, this is sorted as there was some problem with their system. I also got confirmation from the property where I booked my stay. Cheers

Last week Taj MG Road bangalore had 4800 INR per night for TIC Members and Oberoi 5400 INR per night where as it costs 12K generally. Since i wanted experience in Oberoi stayed 2 nights in Oberoi Bangalore have taken pics of it. Really a quick and well maintained services by Oberoi properties. Mini bars were filled but chargeable for 50 ML of Balck label costed 750 but MRP is 504 INR. But a good experience. Already i stayed in Taj Westend it was good too . but Oberoi was a premium look for even a Delux Room than what i could see in Taj Westend. Next stop is Taj MG Road i could see for member rates it is 4950 for Delux Room Per night.

    Let us see.

Though the sale is over , there are some properties where the cherishing togetherness rate was just 20% lower than standard rate rather than 50% , when questioned about it , they revealed the scheme was changed midway to Upto 50% from Flat 50% , so me personally hve 2 bookings at flat 50%(cherishing togetherness rate) and a booking at 25% discount(normal gold rather than cherishing togetherness rate)

They don’t always do the flat 25% or 50% isnt it? Have seen Gold rates too not at flat 25% for some properties. It’s mostly an “upto” offer in my experience.
