Here comes a decent spend based offer from Yesbank maybe at right time as all of us were eagerly waiting for one. I recently received this spend based offer on my yes first exclusive card wherein you could get Rs.500 or Rs.1000 Amazon voucher based on the spends done in given period. It looks like a targeted offer and i don’t see anyone report about this offer yet. Maybe i got lucky this time?!
And just incase if you’re wondering about my spend pattern on this card, Its <10k in past 3 months. So here we go into the details:

Bottomline:
The offer is totally worth it if you can spend 25,000 INR before month end. Shouldn’t be a big deal, as there isn’t any exclusions on spend categories. Maybe you could pre-pay your upcoming bills & payments but not to forget, the target needs to be reached along with the ‘X’ no. of transactions for you to quality for the offer.
That aside, its surprising to see Yesbank giveaway Amazon e-voucher while they recently removed it (physical voucher) from their points redemption options. Maybe this means Yesbank will add e-voucher to the redemption system in near future? or maybe not! Only time will tell.

On my yes prosperity card the offer is Rs500 bookmyshow voucher in spends id Rs15k in 4txs. No offer on oreferred as i use it regularly.

I have got Rs. 1000 BMS voucher offer on reaching spend threshold of 30,000 in 4 txns this month.
I got this Amazon offers this month, last month I got same offer for BMS voucher. I will get both Rs. 1000 BMS voucher and Rs.1000 amazon voucher.
I have Yes Prosperity Edge and I also got BMS offer last month and Amazon voucher this month. It’s 4 or more transactions/6 or more transactions.
The irritating thing that happens is that they are communicating this offer 7-10 days after start of month. Both times I had already made decent transactions with other credit cards before I got the offer mail/SMS.
That’s true, i felt the same too. They could have communicated early.
Yes Bank has not been coming out with 2X/5X/10X offers for an eternity. Havent got any targeted offer, on top of that they have reduced the limit on my Yes First Exclusive Card from 2.5L to a princely sum of Rs 38K although I have been a heavy user and never defaulted on them. Yeah you got that right – Rs. 38K.
Hope they become No Bank soon.

I have the YFP and not got any Amazon/BMS offers yet. Till there is such spend based offers or 2X-10X, I will not use YFP now that there is no Amazon gift vouchers.
2x/3x/10x might come back by Oct/Nov. Get ready 🙂
Pantaloons/LP/Cleartrip vouchers still makes sense, though yes, not as great as Amazon voucher.

Seems to be targeted for very low spenders.
I got the same offer yesterday in my yes prosperity edge credit card. 4.33% is the effective reward rate for edge customers!.
I did not get any offers probably because I am using the exclusive card as my primary card and monthly spend is >1iL on average. I am extremely dissastisfied with Yes Credit card as they have removed the Amazon vouchers for the regular customers (who are actually running their business) and giving these vouchers to low spenders. I am not against targeted offers but this is not fair

I complained to them for quite a few no of times… and they told that yes they have been getting -ve feedback for that …. but they are non-committed whether it will come Back or not..
A little more PUSH needed from more users… and we may see it Back !!!

2000 bonus points for spending a total of Rs 30K on Yes First CC. I spend that amount on my monthly rent payment so needn’t have to do anything extra. Not a great bonus but hey who will say no to free points.
It’s still not even 2x (It’s 4% to 4.5%). Last year’s offers were way better 3x/2x atleast. 😞
