Just like any other bank, RBL Bank too has been participating in the Diwali spend based promos. Last year (2017) they were giving out iPhone X as a reward to the top spender of the week, for 5 weeks, on both their credit/debit cards.
That just makes 10 customers happy, so this year RBL bank has come up with a better promo to reach wider audience. This is a nice move as i personally don’t like the “top spender” concept as cardholders have less control on such kind of promos. So here is RBL’s Festive promo for 2018,

RBL Bank Amazon ECHO DOT Offer Details:
- Offer period: 10th Oct to 10th Nov, 2018
- Target : Spend X Amount to get Amazon Echo Dot (3rd Gen)
- Offer Reward Rate: ~3% (If target is 1L)
- A Cardmember will be eligible for a maximum of one Amazon Echo Dot (3rd Gen) voucher in the offer.
- Excluded Cards: Corporate Cards
- Excluded Spend Types: Nil
- Fulfilment: 30th Nov 2018 (That’s pretty fast)
One thing i like about the offer is its plain and simple with less of complications in them. It appears that most of the cardholders received a target of Rs.1 Lakh which is easily achievable for many, but whether RBL has that kind of customers is a different question altogether!
That aside, i wonder why they call the promo as “AMillionCelebrations” ? Maybe they’ve set target of “10 Lakhs” for high spenders? Do share your thoughts!

If you’re holding RBL Bank credit cards, this is one of the best time to get better returns out of spends on your cards. Compared to the 2017 promo, i would say this is far better as this would make more cardholders eligible for the promo.
That said, RBL still has room to improve their festive promo. Maybe they could have come up with “X” target to get “Product 1” and “Y” target to get “Product 2”
Anyway, when it comes to RBL bank credit cards, even-though they’re decently rewarding, i personally feel they lack the uniqueness in them except with their Insignia credit card. And i just figured out they’ve 34 credit card variants (Seriously?!) with them.

I got this offer with Rs 1L target too. With insignia, rewards rate this offer gives value of 3% for echo dot + 1.25% regular points which can be redeemed for Amazon e-vouchers.

You will get both offers if you have 2 spend targets to achieve.
So basically, if you have 1 Lac spend target for Amazon Echo dot and 5k target spend for evouchers, you can get both on spending 1 Lac on the specific Card.
You just have to ensure to spend on the Card on which offer is applicable. This offer is best in market during this festive season on any Card and is plain and simple as mentioned by Siddharth.

#Amillioncelebrations is because RBL Bank recently had come out with the 1 Million Credit Card Customers celebration. This was in September and had come in various newspapers . RbL has dedicated this festive in continuation of that to all 1 Million Card customers by rewarding them.
Also, if customers are eligible for 2 offers like the one’s listed above, they can get both on crossing spend targets as assigned by RBL.

Do they consider all the money spent in offer period to reach 1lakh, that we later converted into EMI ? Or do they only take the monthly EMI converted amount for 1 lakh target calculation?

I made payment of 98800 but now my credit limit had reached. I made the payment couple of days ago but is yet not updated. And RBL is not letting me go pass my limit. All in vein.
For those who are qualifying for the offer will get SMS of confirmation , they will get email of voucher which they have to redeem to get Eco dot,
Mostly there will no problem, but if you get any query You are in big trouble , Customer care of RBL is very very poor, and sales team is full of giving false promise to lure customer
Today, got SMS confirmation saying target achieved and I’ll be being echo dot voucher on or before 30th November. Based on my experience, RBL customer care takes time to resolve the issue, but final they’ll will resolve issue and still far better than HDFC and Axis. Amex customer care is the best and make sure customer is happy/satisfied.
I had spent 100000 on RBL bank credit card on 9/11/2018 & now my waiting time is over because yesterday (21/11/2018) i received a text message from RBL bank that is- “Congratulations! You’ve qualified for the festive offer on RBL bank credit card ending xxxx. Your E-voucher code for Amazon echo Dot (3rd Gen.) will be sent to you on your registered e-mail id/mobile No. on or before Nov 30, 2018”.
