Fly Like a VIP: Enjoy Free Airport Meet & Greet with Visa Infinite Credit Cards

Visa Infinite Airport Meet and greet offer

While cards like Axis Magnus Burgundy are known for offering complimentary airport meet and greet services, Visa has recently introduced a similar benefit on its own. Select Visa Infinite Credit Cards are eligible for this perk upon meeting specific spend criteria. Here’s everything you need to know about the offer and how to avail it.

Offer Details

It’s a simple and straightforward offer, and the booking portal is quite user-friendly. Just verify your mobile number, then enter your Visa card details to check eligibility.

Do note that the service is available only for international departures and arrivals.

While I haven’t personally used the Visa offer yet, Puneet has availed it twice recently and shared that the experience was quite good.

If you’re new to this service, I’ve covered it in detail a few years ago, feel free to check it out here:: Airport Meet and Greet Services in India.

These airport meet and assist services can be especially helpful when travelling with family, as managing multiple bags and navigating the airport can be tiring.

Eligible Visa Infinite Cards

If you’re wondering which cards are on Visa Infinite, here are some:

While the above cards are eligible, do note that you must have also spent at least $1,000 on international point-of-sale (POS) transactions (not online) within the past 12 months.

Bottomline

While we’re aware of the Visa BookMyShow offers, it’s great to now see Visa stepping in to offer meet and greet services for their top-tier cardholders directly, using a smart eligibility filter based on data they already have access to.

Hopefully, I also wish they do the same with airport lounge access to simplify the complicated rules set by each bank that keeps changing almost every year. After all, that is how it used to be a decade ago anyway.

Also, it would be great if Visa brings the Bicester Collection apartment access to Indian cards, similar to what they offer in markets like the UK and the Middle East for select Visa Infinite cards.

Officially it’s for 1 person. But my friend always uses it (via Axis) for entire family and it goes well he says.

Maybe some airports might have issues, like the HYD one which I explained in other article if I remember it right. Meanwhile, what he also does is tip the porter post service.

Not sure about other airports but in bangalore international the Meet n Greet is pretty pointless. Still have to stand in line for pretty much everything, priority security check happens where crowd is there mostly anyway. 2 different people just accompany you at various points til lounge – honestly i don’t see the point.

That’s probably about T1. From my experience, T2 is quite sorted with a separate business class line, though it’s not always accessible.

Even in the worst case, having someone to assist with bags in the security area gives some peace of mind, especially when it’s crowded.

If we can avail it in Ashwa, can we avail it in Mayura? And is it mandatory to spend $1000 on POS machine internationally?

Mayura is issued on Mastercard network unfortunately. And yes, the spend requirement is mandatory.

Checked with? It’s open visa offer without exclusions, so I doubt.

    Few questions

    1. Are you eligible if you are booking via Smart buy using hdfc inifia?
    2. The $1000 is for one time requirement or you need that with every flight?
    3. This eligible spending could be in any category?
