Top 5 Benefits of AURUM Credit Card: Movie tickets, Rewards, Golf and more

Updated on 22 December 2025
Aurum Credit Card

India has good number of Super Premium Credit Cards and AURUM is a noteworthy one among. The AURUM Credit Card offers not just good rewards but also lifestyle perks like free movie tickets, golf access, premium support, and much more.

Here are the top five benefits that make the AURUM Credit Card special.

1. Movie Tickets

Most cards only give a “Buy 1 Get 1” movie offer, but AURUM is different. It offers completely free movie tickets on BookMyShow. Here’s what you get:

  • Get 4 free movie tickets per month via BookMyShow
  • Maximum cap of Rs.250 per ticket

If you use this benefit every month, that’s worth about Rs.12,000 per year. This makes AURUM one of the best credit cards in India for movie lovers.

2. Golf Games

While Golf benefits are available on most super premium credit cards, the AURUM Credit Card makes the experience much smoother and user-friendly when it comes to booking a game or lesson. Here’s what the card offers:

  • 16 complimentary games (4/Qtr) per year across premium golf courses
  • 12 complimentary lessons annually to help improve your swing

The Golf benefit is offered in a way that feels simple and practical, without unnecessary restrictions or confusing terms.

Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the sport or an experienced player who wants to play the game, AURUM takes care of it all.

3. Reward Points

Beyond lifestyle perks, the card also offers a decent rewards program so you can save on your everyday spends.

  • Ongoing Rewards: Earn 4 points per Rs.100 spent (1% return) on most categories

The redemption of reward points is also convenient, with options to redeem points for popular shopping vouchers. I’ve covered the redemption experience sometime back.

4. Milestone Benefits

While the base reward rate is modest, milestone benefits can substantially enhance overall value for high spenders, as shown below,

  • Monthly milestone: Spend Rs.1 lakh and get a Rs.1,500 TataCliq shopping Voucher
  • Annual milestones: Spend 5 Lakhs and get 5,000 INR TataCliq Luxury voucher, 10 Lakhs for 10,000 INR Taj Experiences Voucher and 20 Lakhs for 20,000 INR Apple Premium Reseller Voucher.

Put simply, monthly milestones translate to a 1.5% return on spend, and annual milestones can fetch returns of about 1.75% as shopping and travel vouchers.

5. Support & Concierge

AURUM Credit Card comes with dedicated premium support that delivers response times unmatched by any other card in the market.

I’ve had times in the past where-in I got an email response in a track record of 7 minuteshere’s the proof.

Even though the official turnaround time for email response is 4 hours, it is still an industry-leading commitment.

To add further convenience, the card also provides secretarial access, which means your secretary or assistant can handle your card-related tasks on your behalf.

Apart from Card support, you also get access to the lifestyle concierge who can get things done for you.

After Amex Platinum dropped the email support for concierge, I’ve used AURUM Concierge quite a bit for day-to-day needs and is indeed handy.

Final Thoughts

The AURUM Credit Card isn’t just another super premium credit card, it’s a complete package that blends lifestyle privileges, solid rewards and dependable support.

A good card but SBI and ICICI are notorious in devaluing cards suddenly out of nowhere and that too massively.

How is SBI’s customer support in general? Would anyone vouch for it? That is the only thing I am a little terrified about. If the customer support personnel have attitudes like those sitting in SBI branches I have been to, then that would be a BIG RED FLAG for me.

And how about their dispute resolution? Has anyone ever had to deal with them for that? How was your experience?

Another benefit of Aurum is access to the Delhi International Airport Encalm Arrival Lounge—a valuable perk, as many premium cards do not offer access to this lounge.

Do you think Aurum is still good in 2026 as there are so many other high rewarding cards out there with miles transfer ability?

It’s not for miles enthusiasts as they fall under much higher spend group. Aurum is for those who has decent spends, about 12L a year and wanted super premium CC benefits. Given how tough it is now to get good super premium cards like Infinia or Emerald Private, Aurum certainly is a good pick for that segment.

Is that information true. If we dont spend 18 Lakhs per year from 2026 then Infinia card would be cancelled and downgraded. It seems it was there in hdfc site for some time and they brought it down.
I thought of buying car Using DCB so that i Get infinia upgrade but with new terms looks like within year again my card would get downgraded 🙂

This sounds more like a rumour. I mean this can’t be true. The spend limit for avoiding annual/renewal fee is only Rs 10L. So it would be really illogical for the bank to expect anyone to spend 80% more than that to avoid the card being downgraded.

Looks like this is not a rumor. I got an email from HDFC that that in order to retain the Infinia I must spend 18L in a year. If not they said that at the discretion of the bank they will withdraw the Infinia and provide me with an alternate card. If that happens, then I will rather surrender this card or the replacement that they are thinking about and maybe switch to some other super premium card. I have 3 cards from HDFC itself, Infinia, Tata Neu Infinity and Swiggy. My spends are split across these 3 and then I have ICICI Amazon and Amex MRCC too for specific reasons. Each card is beneficial in its own way. I won’t be able to reach 18L on Infinia alone. Also I wonder why they insist on one card when I have 3 and are not looking at the combined total.

Held Aurum for 2 years without interacting much, but impressed to see how fast their support responds. Will give it a try going ahead.
