Heaven on Earth Spa at Mumbai Airport Review (T2 – International)

By | January 3, 2019

As i recently flew out of Mumbai T2, International Departures, i did a quick visit to the Heaven on Earth (HOE) airport spa before i visited the GVK lounge (East Wing). Here’s a super quick review of the same, as it don’t deserve a lengthy one 😛

Heaven on Earth Airport Spa Review at Mumbai Airport (T2 – International)

Location

Its located in Mumbai Airport T2 – International Departures Airside, near the GVK lounge (West Wing) and you can spot it easily with the signage.

Price & Getting Access

  • Paid Access: Its expensive as always, with rates starting from ~3000 INR for 30 mins.
  • Complimentary Access: I got access to this spa using my Dreamfolks DragonPass Card. They took about 10 minutes to figure out how it works and finally someone was able to assist.

Ambience

The area was neither big nor compact and the ambience was OKAY, nothing great here. Occupancy was about 20% during my visit.

Service

If you go with the complimentary access, Dreamfolks usually gives you few options (30 mins each) in most outlets. Here I went with:

  • Neck & Shoulder Massage

So they assigned a “guy” who doesn’t seem to be trained, even with his looks. He started showing his skills (!) to relieve stress on neck and within a minute i can say that he’s definitely not the guy who passed the preliminary training!

So i decided to leave the place well before 30 mins.

  • Cardexpert Rating: 2/5 [yasr_overall_rating]

I would actually want to rate 0.1/5 but well, who knows, it might be my bad time!

Bottomline

So overall, from my experience, the Heaven on Earth Airport spa felt like Hell on Earth 😀

If you’re flying out of Mumbai T2 – International Departures, you may probably need to explore the O2 Spa which seems to be present inside the Niranta Hotel. I didn’t have enough time to check this out during my trip.

Have you ever explored HOE or O2 Spa at Mumbai T2, International Departures? Feel free to share your experiences in the comments below

I once tried to get the complimentary massage before boarding a flight at night using my DreamFolks card.
The lady was welcoming till the moment I asked about the complimentary massage.
Immediately, she became disinterested and told me that one needs to do advanced booking 😛 even though the place was empty.
I don’t ever want to give them any money (or even DragonPass’s money for that matter).

      Lol. 😅

Dreamfolks must be paying too low compared to their prices but this is definitely not the right way to handle.

On other side O2 Spa at Bangalore airport was welcoming and they were even asking proactively for feedback.

Speaking about Tip, how much do you guys tip in Spa/Lounge?

Normally there is no tipping in airport lounges. I’m not sure about spas as I’ve never tried one at a lounge. The prices always seem on the higher side.

That would be if they actually give me a massage!
The rude lady shooed me away even before telling me any details about how to make a reservation or why a reservation is needed for an empty spa?!

Update: Post my unpleasant experience, I peeked inside this spa once again in February 2019. To my surprise, it was full and there were lot of trained ladies offering different treatments. I was with my wife and we both opted for the Neck & Shoulder Massage. How the perception of HOE changed! It was one of the most relaxing massages we both ever got. We were so happy, we tipped a little to both the attendants.

@Siddarth.. thanks. Util now, your site was the most reliable source of information for Credit Cards etc. But it is also useful to know what is not good (so that people don’t waste their time / Limited Access).

PS: the reason why I like this site is because there is no messy advertisement. Also contents seem to be well written and to the point (unlike the original credit card provider site who tends to highlight positive aspects, and keep the -ve aspects away from site). Please keep up the good work.
