Travel Club Lounge (TFS) at Mumbai T2 Domestic Review

By | June 21, 2022

I visited Travel Club Lounge also called as TFS at Mumbai T2 terminal while i was on domestic departure. I was in a hurry and hardly had 15 mins or so to explore the entire Terminal which is huge enough to spend 2-3 hrs if you plan to visit each and every shop in the terminal. I rushed to TFS lounge skipping the shiny outlets in the terminal and noticed that they accept only Priority Pass during my visit, which was in mid August 2016. Now they’re accepting even my American Express platinum travel card which i recently wrote: Amex complimentary lounge access.

My Experience at Travel Club Lounge (TFS) at Mumbai T2:

As soon as i got access to the lounge, i hardly had 5 minutes or so to check out the entire lounge. All i did was, try some Mango juice in the bar and snap the interiors, food and rushed to the boarding gate. One unique thing of the lounge which i hadn’t seen in any other lounge is the O2 spa which you’ll see as soon as you get inside the lounge.

Food seems to be delicious and the overall ambience is very attractive & rich enough to be in line with the T2 terminal.

Facilities at Travel Club Lounge (TFS) at Mumbai T2 Domestic:

  • CardExpert Lounge Rating: 4.5/5
  • Wifi: Yes
  • Food: Yes. Buffet.
  • Ambiance: Very Good.
  • Recharge Station: Yes.
  • Complimentary Access on: Priority Pass, American Express

Overall, its an awesome lounge to visit. I know i’ve utilized one precious Priority Pass visit on my card for mere 5 minutes but its worth it as long as it helps you with the info you were looking for 🙂

Few months back i visited Pune lounge, and the guy asked me for how many people when he is about to swipe my PP; I asked if he can swipe for 2 or more for which he said yes.
I am not very sure if only one complimentary visit is allowed or if we swipe for multiple people all will come under complimentary.

This is happening once in a while as some of the readers also reported the same. But technically, its not allowed and is not possible. It looks like indian Priority pass is different from actual Priority pass, which has this limitations.

    I have two questions

    1. Is this lounge different from Loyalty Lounge at T2(Domestic) ?? or is it renamed as Loyalty lounge??

    2. Where is MALS(Mumbai Airport Lounge Services) lounge at T2 ?? Is it “GVK Lounge – Domestic T2”??

        Siddarth,
The RuPay lounge list has Mumbai Airport Lounge Services and clipper lounge. GVK Lounge is managed by Mumbai Airport Lounge Services as mentioned on the GVK website. Does that mean RuPay card holder can access the GVK Lounge ?

    Hi,
Visited this lounge on Friday. Wanted to share the experience I had when travelling with family. I and my wife have access via multiple debit card( master card) and credit card ( diners). We both used master card to access the lounge for our own. For my daughter ( 9 yrs old ) they wanted a card from a provider different from the one that I used. So I gave them my Diners Black.
This way I could get my daughter’s access with ease. I remember around 2 yrs back at Delhi T3, they didnt ask for any card swipe for my daughter.
Moral of the story: you need to have lounge access via different providers, in order to get your kids entry ( in lounge where they wont let them in without a card swipe.

    Regards,
    Balpreet

    Dear Siddharth,
I am a regular reader of yours and want your help for free lounge access. I have a domestic flight from Mumbai airport in March & am planning to visit the TFS at T2 . Now I have just Citi Bank rewards visa platinum card which I suppose doesn’t give free lounge access , just visited NPCI website that states rupay platinum gives free access to airport lounges , shall I get a platinum rupay debit card. Needs your suggestions in this regards also is there any other card with free joining and no yearly fees that gives the facility.

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi thala,

My short review of Air Serv Lounge, Mumbai T2.
I happened to visit Mumbai and now with T1 closed for renovation, I landed in T2. I had to spend close to 2 hours waiting for my colleague’s flight to arrive. I was looking for some restaurant in the Arrival hall and luckily found the Air Serv Lounge @ T2. Now comes the most tiresome part. The Air Serv lounge is located in the international passenger’s arrival hall and hence domestic passengers cannot get past the security from domestic hall to international hall (due to covid screening and procedures). I was not allowed to go to the international arrival hall. I called up the lounge directly and I was assisted by Ms.Martina. The lady was absolutely accomodating and went beyond her duty to help me out. She made a reservation over the phone for me and sent the printed reservation through an executive who helped clear the security and took me to the lounge.
Now the lounge has its own sleeping pod, shower room (both chargeable). PP holders can use the lounge for max 3 hours and can choose from the limited (covid impact again) menu. Food was delicious and fresh. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. After a couple of hours there, when it was time for me to go receive my colleague, Ms.Martina again helped me get back to the domestic arrival hall zipping past the covid screening queues and the security.

PS: This lounge comes under the international arrival hall and maybe because of that the swipe from my PP was accounted in international lounge swipe. No issues here since I have a unlimited PP visit (HDFC Infinia vazhga) feature. Others do check before using your PP/Visa/Master cards as it may come under international visit and you might get charged.

Cool, thanks for sharing. Good to see that the AviServ lounge is able to help you to this extent.
Been there once via PP access (before pandemic) but the executive who handled me was just opposite. They even said cool drinks not allowed for PP users.

But I would never even think of visiting International arrival at this time as it increases the chances of getting Covid.
